With a multidisciplinary foundation in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, and Interior Design, Atish Dipankar Basak founded ADS Creative Space with a vision to create thoughtful, innovative, and timeless spaces that balance aesthetics, functionality, and buildability.
Beyond professional practice, Atish is an avid traveller with a deep appreciation for mountains, cultural heritage, and historic architecture. His journeys across India and destinations such as Malaysia and Vietnam are opportunities to explore the relationship between architecture, culture, materials, and craftsmanship. From the intricate details of ancient and religious structures to the distinctive character of regional architecture, he finds inspiration in observing how places reflect the people, traditions, and environments that shape them.
This spirit of exploration informs his design perspective, encouraging a deeper understanding of architectural details, material expression, and context-sensitive design. At ADS Creative Space, he brings together professional expertise and a continuing curiosity about the built environment to create spaces that are meaningful, functional, and enduring.
Notable work includes the Rashtrapati Nilayam Souvenir Shop in Secunderabad and 34 airport stores across India for RARE PLANET and 2M Minimart. Every project is personally overseen, with a planning assistant supporting drawings and documentation.
