Designed for a private residence in Gangarampur, this 120 sq.ft. home temple was conceived as a luxurious, contemplative space for daily worship.
The sanctum is built around a black stone Shivling set against a full-height backlit blue onyx panel, beside an arched niche with a golden Om mandala and a Radha-Krishna idol. Above it, a backlit roundel carries the Hare Krishna Mahamantra.
Italian travertine lines the walls and floor, and a coffered wooden ceiling adds warmth overhead. The entrance is marked by a scalloped arch around a pointed timber door with lotus cut-outs, coloured inserts and brass bells, finished in ICA polyester coating, so arriving at the temple becomes a small ritual of its own.
