About

Designed for Pratik Nandi in Kaliaganj, this G+2 residence was taken from floor planning through to construction drawings. Each floor is planned as a compact three-bedroom home of roughly 1,200 sq.ft., with bedrooms at the front and rear, an open living and dining area at the centre, and the staircase set to one side.

Alongside the architectural plans, ADS Creative Space prepared the foundation, column and tie beam layouts on a coordinated 12-column grid that follows the plot. The building is currently under construction.

An Efficient Family Floor Plate

Each typical floor holds three bedrooms, a living and dining area, a kitchen, a mandir, two toilets and a balcony. Bedrooms sit at the front and rear for privacy, the open living and dining space links them in the middle, and the staircase is placed to one side so circulation stays short and the rooms get natural light.

Construction-Ready Structural Drawings

The drawing set goes beyond layout to the structure: foundation, column and tie beam layouts coordinated on a single 12-column grid that follows the slightly tapering plot. These are the drawings the site team builds from, issued alongside the architectural plans.

Contemporary Elevation – Design Concept

The proposed elevation layers recessed balconies with glass railings and planters, a full-height perforated timber screen and warm timber louvres against a light textured façade, with covered parking at ground level. This image is a design concept for the elevation.
