Designed for the Shubham Agarwal family in Balurghat, this 2,500 sq.ft. residence was planned as a complete home interior, from the living room and kitchen to the bedrooms, bathrooms and balcony. The aim was a home that feels calm, bright and connected, with each room given its own character within a single design language.
Living, dining and kitchen form one continuous open plan, unified by soft sage, light oak and continuous cove lighting. A backlit brass lattice wall gives the living room its focal point, an aqua glass-block partition shares light between zones, and a high-gloss sage U-shaped kitchen with a breakfast counter keeps everyday cooking and family time together.
The private spaces shift in mood. The master suite is serene, with a marble-finish headboard wall and fluted wardrobes. The kids' room becomes a playful sky of balloons, clouds and a glowing moon, with a built-in study. The two bathrooms take different directions, one bold in green tile and gold, the other calm and minimal, while the balcony extends the home outdoors with a warm wood-slat ceiling and wicker seating.
